We abide by the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) guidelines for calculating square footage. ANSI Z765 is applicable to the measurement of detached single-family residential homes and attached single-family units townhouses. The ANSI standard is the most widely recognized method for the calculation of square footage.
If you suspect a mistake in our report, Please contact us immediately. We take pride in providing the most accurate information possible. If needed, we will re-measure the property. If the first measurement has an error in measuring, there is no additional charge for the second visit and report. If the second measurement is within +/- 5% of the total heated square footage (HSF) of the first measurement, we will have to charge for the second visit and report.
