You will receive your professional sketch (in PDF format) within one to two days of the appointment, but frequently on the same day the measuring service is performed.

We abide by the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) guidelines for calculating square footage. ANSI Z765 is applicable to the measurement of detached single-family residential homes and attached single-family units townhouses. The ANSI standard is the most widely recognized method for the calculation of square footage.
Real Estate Brokers and Agents: Avoid misrepresenting the square footage of your listing. Often public records are inaccurate and may not include areas that, when following ANSI guidelines, would be indicated as living area. You can hand over this sketch to the appraiser that is performing the appraisal for the sale of your listing, avoiding any surprises in square footage and living area differences.
